Meals 4 Health and Healing Program - The Heimerdinger Foundation.

For our August outreach, we will be supporting The Heimerdinger Foundation.

The foundation provides and delivers nutrient-dense meals and nutrition education free of charge to people facing cancer through its signature Meals 4 Health and Healing program. Every week, they provide approximately 800 nutrient-dense servings to up to 100 cancer patients and their caregivers. Their meals are all organic, gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free.

We will be collecting the following:

(1) Organic dried beans and grains

(2) Service items like plastic wrap, foil and parchment paper.

Food items needed are: kidney, garbanzo, lentils, black beans, azuki, and white beans (bulk beans at Sprouts and Whole Foods are organic), brown rice, quinoa, wild rice, black rice, fonio, buckwheat noodles, brown rice noodles, lentil pasta, chickpea pasta, and quinoa pasta.

Please be sure food items are ORGANIC so they can provide immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory meals to those in need.
