We are still tabulating the final numbers from our
Pearls of Wisdom Evening for Education,
but it looks like another record-breaking year!

Feel free to LIKE, SHARE or DOWNLOAD our pics.

This year's Pearl of Wisdom was truly an extraordinary event!  Something we haven't done in the past. And we couldn't have done it without your support.

For the first time, we hosted our first nighttime event at the beautiful Bishop's Hall at the Catholic Pastoral Center on September 10.

We enjoyed scrumptious appetizers and a delicious dinner provided by The Clean Plate Club with an open bar with spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages provided by Ajax Turner, Athens, and Best Brands.

One of the highlights of the night was the LIVE auction. We had some fabulous items like a grotto mass and tour with Italian dinner for 10, a Destin beach condo vacation, tea with the Dominican Sisters, a fur coat and pearls set, a gourmet dinner for 8 with a tour of Harrison House, and the opportunity to sign up for whiskey tastings from the Whiskey House.

We partnered with PGE that offered one-of-a-kind signed guitars, sports memorabilia, and photographs along with jewelry, sunglasses and so much more! There were Preds and Nashville Soccer tickets, golf outings, accessories, home decor, salon, attraction, restaurant gift certificates, among other things!

Kudos to our event co-chairs Lisa Link and Nikki Moreland and their committee for planning and executing an amazing event!

Thank you to our sponsors and to everyone who attended, made a donation, or purchased or donated an auction item to help us raise money for our scholarship fund.  Your contribution will provide tuition assistance for one young woman at each of the three Catholic high schools in Nashville for all four years of her high school career. We will keep you updated on the total amount raised!

New ONLINE AUCTION is OPEN plus Whiskey Tasting Experiences are AVAILABLE.

Want a unique one-of-a-kind experience that also helps raise money for our scholarship fund?? Then sign up for one of our available slots to enjoy 8-12 pours from amazing whiskeys from around the world at The Whiskey House. NCBWL is blessed with so many fascinating women members, each one brings amazing gifts and talents.

Our Member Spotlight feature for the month of September is a gifted author whose curious mind and love for travel and history provided the inspiration for her debut novel Isabella's Libretto.

This historical fiction for young people 10 years and older is about the life of a spirited, ambitious orphan who plays cello in Antonio Vivaldi's remarkable all-female orchestra in Venice, Italy, in 1715. Very interesting!
