The Nashville Catholic Business Women's League (NCBWL) is a non-profit organization open to all Catholic women in the Diocese of Nashville. In addition to supporting one another spiritually, we support our Catholic community by providing scholarships to girls attending the three Catholic high schools in Nashville. For many years, we have raised funds through our only major event Pearls of Wisdom, where women gather in September for a festive Luncheon, Fashion Show, and Auction.

Our mission is:
• To empower members and other women through the sharing of our resources;
• To stimulate interaction among Catholic women of all ages;
• To strengthen and encourage members and all women of all ages;
• To support through prayer, example and work, the improvement of life for women; and
• To promote and perpetuate Catholic education.

Mission

The Nashville Catholic Business Women’s League (NCBWL) is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2020. It is the oldest business organization in the Diocese of Nashville. The NCBWL began with a small group of Catholic women, primarily teachers and nurses, in 1950 and today has grown to include more than 100 active members who fund scholarships to all three Catholic high schools in the city.

 “As we enter our 70th year, it’s time to honor our organization’s rich heritage,” said Teri Gordon, president of the NCBWL. “We were formed by like-minded women and we continue to help Catholic businesswomen connect, network and grow both professionally and spiritually.”

JOIN US

Nashville offers a rich, vibrant Catholic community and NCBWL is in the midst of it. Our group provides networking, friendship, inspiration, and connections to other Catholic organizations in the area. We meet the third Wednesday of the month. (Check updates on location). We engage in regular community service projects. We plan special programs with featured speakers and provide other opportunities to gather as well.
