October NCBWL Meeting

Juan David and Cara Barajas grew up in the Middle Tennessee area and graduated in 2018 from the University of Tennessee. Juan David graduated with a bachelors in philosophy with a double minor in math and religious studies. Cara graduated with a bachelors in English Literature with a minor in urban, multicultural education with a concentration in teaching English as a second language. They are currently serving their first year as FOCUS missionaries at Troy University located in Troy, Alabama.

FOCUS is a missionary apostolate of the Catholic Church with over 750 missionaries on over 150 college campuses. FOCUS missionaries have seen the desperate need for Christ on the college campus and seek to fulfill the Great Commission by leading students to be lifelong disciples of Jesus through bible studies, mentorship, mission trips, retreats, and national conferences. Missionaries invest full-time in students through authentic friendship, fostering divine intimacy, and by instilling clarity and conviction for spiritual multiplication.
