Our guest speaker will be our long-time chaplain Father Michael O'Bryan. Father is retiring as a pastor but not as our chaplain. He will reflect upon his time as a pastor with us during this special meeting.

About the Event
The Rev. Michael O'Bryan is a native of Middle Tennessee, born in Columbia, reared in Springfield, TN, educated at Middle Tennessee and Vanderbilt University. He served as an Infantry Officer with the 101st Airborne in Clarksville, TN and South Vietnam.
He originally intended to make the military his career but after being seriously wounded in South Vietnam he was medically discharged from the Army. He entered graduate school at Middle Tennessee State University and then Vanderbilt University earning Master’s Degrees in Chemistry and Business Administration. He followed a career path from clinical chemistry to sales and marketing positions in analytical instrumentation and industrial water treatment. He ended his business career back in Middle Tennessee as an environmental consultant on water use issues after getting yet another Master’s Degree in environmental management from Samford University in Birmingham, AL.
It was upon his return to Nashville that he discerned a calling to the priesthood. He entered Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, LA in the fall of 2001 and was ordained and received another Master’s Degree, this one in Divinity in May of 2006. He has served as chaplain at St, Thomas Hospital and associate pastor at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. He has served as pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Lebanon, TN for several years.
