The Story of Catholic Media Productions with John Bosio

The story of Catholic Media Productions is full of mystery. Many things happened in the past 32 years here in Nashville that can be explained with plausible reasons. We could call them coincidences. But, St. John Paul II reminds us: “In the designs of Providence there are no mere coincidences.” So, what really happened? When we look at the history of Catholic Media Productions through the eyes of faith, we see the Holy Spirit guiding men and women on a journey of faith. Come learn and be inspired.

John Bosio is the Chairman of Catholic Media Productions and acting manager for Nashville Catholic Radio, WBOU 100.5 FM, an affiliate of Relevant Radio. John has been married 45 years. He and his wife, Teri, live in Mount Juliet, and are parents of two daughters. Has led religious education and marriage enrichment programs at the parish and diocesan level for many years. John has a Master’s Degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. For 13 years he served three parishes in Kansas as a marriage and family therapist. From 1987 to 2011 he worked for two large corporations (Cummings Engine Co., and Caterpillar) as International Human Resources manager.

While working in the corporate world John continued his interest in marriage and family life. In 2008 published his first book: Happy Together, the Catholic Blueprint for a Loving Marriage, followed by Blessed is Marriage, in 2010, and in 2014 Joined by Grace, a marriage preparation program that he co-authored with his wife for Ave Maria Press. At the same time, together with his wife, Teri, John developed three marriage enrichment programs widely used in parishes across the USA and in other English speaking countries; SIX DATES for Catholic Couples, The Beatitudes, and The Virtues. For the past 10 years John has contributed a monthly column on marriage to the Tennessee Register: Faithful Marriages. The column received first place award in 2012 and honorable mention in 2018 for “Best Regular Column, Family Life” from the Association of Catholic Publishers.
