True to its name, El Festival de Esperanza was a festive and vibrant evening celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Catholic Charities!

Some of the members of NCBWL enjoyed the taste and sound of Cuba. The Cuban-themed event held April 27 was graced by the three visiting gentlemen who were among the 43 Cuban boys placed by Catholic Charities to Nashvillian families 60 years ago. It was their first time to visit this memorable city after 6 decades.

Delicious Cuban food and drinks, a great cause and an amazing entertainment certainly made for a fun night!

The work they do for the Nashville community is amazing and we are glad to support their efforts!

We also were a contributor for the commemorative 60th Anniversary book showcasing all of the ways that Catholic Charities has helped so many of our neighbors.

If you would like to donate and help make a difference, you can do so on their website at

Did you know that only 5% of the funds of the Catholic Charities of TN comes from the diocese and church donations?

Financial support from individuals, companies, and foundations is critical to meeting the needs of its beneficiaries.

Please consider making a donation to this cause. All proceeds directly benefit important services provided by Catholic Charities every day to so many people in need.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help,
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.
